One way that we uncover an upcoming phone's camera design is by stumbling upon an unreleased phone casing. But oftentimes, the camera design is quite bland as there's nothing new to see since everyone is copying each other. However, the Xiaomi 12 series may just change our minds with an interesting camera design.
According to the leaked images of the Xiaomi 12 protective casings, both the regular Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro could have the same design. The triple rear camera + an LED flashlight cutout has been quite consistent over the past few days, and the pro variant seems much bigger as well.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra's camera design looks out of this world. It features a circular design with sensors all over the bump, rumoured to carry four cameras including a telephoto lens. Sources are also claiming that the ultra variant is using Leica lenses, alongside a 50MP camera for the main supporting Optical Image Stabilizer.
The Xiaomi 12 series is set to be revealed this month as it will be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 devices in the world.
