For product segmentation, brands like to launch multiple devices in one series. Most flagship series comes with a standard and pro version, which has significantly superior tech specs. But could the Xiaomi 12 have mostly similar specs to its pro counterpart?
According to Digital Chat Station (via GSMArena), the standard Xiaomi 12 could feature 100W fast charging. For reference, the Xiaomi 11 uses 55W fast charging while the Xiaomi 11T Pro had the highest charging spec at 120W. If the leak is accurate, then the Xiaomi 12 series devices could all end up using 100W fast charging. It's also possible that the Pro/Ultra variants would use 120W charging.

The other thing that was mentioned was a different camera. Allegedly, the Xiaomi 12 could come with a 50MP main camera instead of a 108MP. Moreover, the tipster suggested that Xiaomi would release two flagships in 2022 with a camera module consisting of three 50MP sensors. This means that Xiaomi could be ditching the 108MP on its main flagship series for 2022.
Of course, rumours are just rumours so we have to take them with a grain of salt. There's also no telling if Xiaomi might reconsider the specs.
