As we're approaching the end of 2021, it's almost time for us to see a bunch of next-generation flagship smartphones. According to rumours, Xiaomi would still be aiming to become one of the first to lead the upcoming competition by launching the Xiaomi 12 as early as December. A few moments ago, its patent had also surfaced on the internet, giving us a glimpse at what we'll be getting from the Chinese tech company.

The patent shows a device with a beautiful curved display and a punch-hole camera on the top-left corner, similar to the one on the previous Xiaomi Mi 11. It looks like the rear panel design will be the only one that gets some upgrades by having the camera setup placed in the middle. However, it might be a "downgrade" for some as it's not something that is deemed as an exciting design change.

As usual, companies don't bring all the patents to life. Therefore, do take this one with a pinch of salt as there are still possibilities for the Xiaomi 12 to look completely different. Since it's rumoured to launch in December, we should be seeing more updates on the upcoming smartphone in the upcoming weeks.

How do you feel about the rumoured design of the Xiaomi 12? Does it make it to your expectation? Let us know by leaving a comment and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more smartphone news.
