Previously, we reported on Xiaomi and Leica teasing the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra sometime this month. Well, now the tech firm has finally unveiled the official release date: 18 April 2023!
Taking to its official Twitter account, Xiaomi confirmed that it will be holding a launch event on the aforementioned date at 19:00 (GMT +8). Called “A shot above”, the event will see the launch of the 13 Ultra and potentially other unannounced Xiaomi products.
The post also reiterated Xiaomi’s collaboration with Leica for the imaging of the device, something that’s been ongoing for quite some time now. Furthermore, the poster also teases the rear design of the 13 Ultra, particularly its massive camera module.
