Xiaomi officially released their top-of-the-line Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone recently featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, up to 16GB RAM, up to 512GB storage and a 5000 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging. Looking premium with a leather-like backside that is both anti-bacterial and IP68 water resistant, the phone has flat sides and rounded corners, and a price tag from 5999 CNY (~RM3868).
Utilizing one of the largest camera humps we’ve seen, it also comes with quad rear cameras consisting of a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 wide angle with OIS and variable aperture + 50MP Sony IMX 858 telephoto with 3.2x optical zoom and OIS + 50MP Sony IMX 858 telephoto with 5X optical zoom and OIS. This results in a zoom that can go all the way up to 120X and it also comes with LEICA Summicron lenses as well.
On the front, the 6.73-inch OLED LTPO display offers 1 to 120Hz refresh rates, 1300 nits high brightness mode and up to 2600 nits peak brightness. It is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus while a 32MP wide angle front camera in a punch hole captures selfies and wefies.
In addition to the cameras and camera tech, Xiaomi has also included a camera grip with a bluetooth remote shutter button that you can clip onto the back of a phone case for the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This can also be used as a stand, but this is a pretty standard accessory that you can find in most camera accessory stores. The only difference here is that it comes in matching colours as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The full set will be priced from 999 CNY (~RM644).
Available in Olive Green, Professional Black and White, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes in 3 variations as well which consist of the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version for 5999 CNY (~RM3868), the 16GB RAM + 512GB storage version for 6499 CNY (~RM4190) and the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage version for 7299 CNY (~RM4706).
