Xiaomi might be skipping 13 and going straight to 14 for its upcoming flagship, according to the leaked box packaging and a screenshot of 'About Phone'. As the Xiaomi 13 still hasn't even gotten announced, it's impossible for leaked images of the Xiaomi 14 to appear. Therefore, it's suspected that the upcoming Xiaomi device gets named differently than we thought.
Looking close enough, you'll see that the box packaging has 'Xiaomi 14' printed on it rather than 'Xiaomi 13'. The 'About Phone' screenshot also displays 'Xiaomi 14' alongside confirming that the device will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Back to the box, it appears that the company isn't near anywhere ditching the charger, judging by the thickness.
It's unknown why the skip, but it's worth mentioning that it's not confirmed until Xiaomi says anything. The Xiaomi 13, or 14, is said to launch on 1 December. If it's true, we should get more news soon as we're just less than two weeks from seeing the device.
