Today, the anticipated Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro have been revealed globally. Their prices start from RM1799 and RM2499, respectively, making them relatively affordable flagship phones. Here's everything you should know about the latest Xiaomi 13T series' tech specs and availability.
Starting with the base Xiaomi 13T, it now features a MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra instead of the usual Snapdragon chipsets. With up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, the display is slightly shorter measuring 6.67 inches but still with high-end features such as an AMOLED panel and up to 144Hz refresh rate (Adaptive Sync).
Moreover, it also supports up to 280Hz touch sampling rate, up to 2600 nits peak brightness, Pro HDR display, Dolby Vision, HDR 10+ and up to 2880Hz PWM dimming. It's also nice to know that the panel is using Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and is IP68 water and dust resistance rated. The battery is 5000mAh with 67W Turbo charging and the audio supports Dolby Atmos as well.
The cameras have Leica technologies and on the back, you can find a 50MP primary camera (OIS) alongside 50MP and 12MP sensors for telephoto and ultrawide respectively. Meanwhile, the front camera is 20MP and the Xiaomi 13T Pro also shares the same camera setup. Speaking of which, the pro variant has many similar specifications as the base model.
Comparing between the Xiaomi 13T and Xiaomi 13T Pro, the only differences are the chipset and memory capacities. The latter features a more premium MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Also, the HyperCharge technology speed is 120W. Xiaomi Malaysia has confirmed that both models will be available for pre-order in Malaysia starting 27 September 2023 on Lazada and Shopee. For a limited, pre-order customers will also receive a premium package that includes a free screen replacement, 100GB of Google Cloud storage, and 1+1 years of extended warranty.
