While the Xiaomi 14 series was just launched at the end of October, the release of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra may be close. In fact, according to renowned tipster Digital Chat Station, the 14 Ultra may launch as early as January 2024.
Taking to Weibo, the tipster said the device will launch in China in Q1 2024. Furthermore, he also claimed that the phone will be equipped with an all-new Sony LYT-900 camera sensor that is still under testing.
If this claim turns out to be true, it’ll make this the first Xiaomi ‘Ultra’ device to launch in a year’s first quarter. For reference, the 13 Ultra was launched in April this year, which is in 2023’s second quarter.
Moreover, a Q1 2024 release also means that there’s less than a 6-month gap between the 14 series and the 14 Ultra. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed yet.
