There's only one week to Chinese New Year (CNY), so the festive season is already on. While it isn't quite the season of shopping for electronics, it hasn't stopped Xiaomi from launching something new. Specifically, a new colour for the Xiaomi 15 to celebrate CNY.
Yesterday, Xiaomi unveiled a magenta-coloured version of the Xiaomi 15. The back of the phone sports a dark magenta colour with a matte finish, plus a black frame to provide a striking contrast. Interestingly, Xiaomi calls it a "customised version", which suggests that there might be some tweaks in specs.

According to Xiaomi, this variant sports a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of internal storage. It also has a 6.36-inch 120Hz OLED display (1200x2670 pixels), three 50MP rear cameras, a 32MP front camera, and a 5400mAh battery. This customised magenta colourway retails in China for 4999 yuan or approximately RM3052.
It should be noted that the Xiaomi 15 isn't officially out in Malaysia yet, so there's a slim chance this magenta colourway could make its way here. Unfortunately, it's probably not going to be on time for CNY. With that said, do you like the colour? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
