If Xiaomi is to follow its usual release schedule, the Chinese tech firm will most likely launch its next flagship, the Xiaomi 16 Series, in October. However, some details about the Xiaomi 16 have already popped up online, courtesy of reliable tipster Smart Pikachu, so read on to learn more.
According to GizmoChina, which sourced a post by the tipster on Weibo, the Xiaomi 16 will be a compact smartphone with a 6.32-inch display and under the hood, it’ll be the first device to be powered by the next-gen Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC. This comes as no surprise, as Xiaomi flagships have consistently been the first smartphones to feature Qualcomm flagship chipsets, as both companies have an agreement in place.

Besides that, Smart Pikachu also claimed that the Xiaomi 16 will feature the largest battery on a device with a 6.32-inch display, though the exact capacity wasn’t revealed. Other specs touted include 50MP triple camears, HyperOS 3.0, presumably over Android 16 and narrow bezels.
Of course, do take this with a grain of salt, as nothing is confirmed just yet. Until further info is available, stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
