Xiaomi has taken away the 'Mi' branding from the smartphone naming, and it'll be the same for the upcoming Mi Band as well. Until today, some information regarding the Xiaomi Band 7 finally arrived. Those give us some clues on the product that should launch soon.

According to tipster Magical Unicorn, who has a good track record when it comes to Xiaomi and Huami wearables' leaks, the upcoming Band 7 will have a larger display than its predecessor. Furthermore, the tipster also claimed that it will support 192 x 490 resolution alongside the Always On Display.

In terms of features, GPS could be included this time after fans expected to see it on the Mi Band 6 from last year. There will also be tons of workout modes, with the Smart Alarm feature that gradually wakes users up. Lastly, there should be a new power-saving mode as well to provide the device longer battery life.

The source mentions that the Xiaomi Band 7 could launch around the end of March, which is the same time frame that the company introduced the Mi Band 6.
