Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will be unveiled on 1 April 2019 with the expected price from RM2499

We’ve been notified that the Xiaomi Black Shark 2, which was initially launched in China, will be launching on 1 April 2019. While they did not mention how much the device will be priced at, DirectD has recently posted that they have already started taking pre-orders of the Black Shark 2 which is priced at RM2499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant and RM2999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. There is a possibility that the aforementioned smartphone will be available on Shopee as well, with a possibility of it having similar prices as DirectD.

In terms of the tech specs, the smartphone will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, memory configurations mentioned above, 6.39-inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor, 48MP + 12MP rear camera, 20MP front-facing selfie camera, and it is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. Feature-wise, the phone comes with various AI-powered optimization tools to help increase performance as well as minimize battery usage whenever possible.
