Xiaomi Buds 4 release: ANC, LHDC 5.0 and up to 30 hours battery life at ~RM442

Xiaomi released a bunch of new products yesterday (11 December 2022) in China, which includes its latest TWS earbuds, the Xiaomi Buds 4. The vanilla version of the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro released earlier this year, check out the full specs and features of the earbuds below. 

According to the Xiaomi official Chinese website, the Buds 4 features a graphene-dual magnetic dynamic driver that is capable of 360-degree spatial audio. Furthermore, the earbuds also support intelligent active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as a Transparency mode.

The earbuds don’t have silicone ear tips though and have a similar design to the Apple AirPods. The case is pebble-shaped which is reminiscent of the Google Pixel Buds and has dual-tone colours, with a choice of either Moon Shadow Salt Lake White and Field Green colour options. 

Moreover, it has three built-in microphones for noise reduction during calls and in wind noise elimination. Besides that, the Buds 4 also supports LHDC 5.0 for CD-like sound quality and Hi-Res audio wireless certification. It can also be connected to two audio devices at once.

As for the battery, the Buds 4 features a 30mAh cell on each earbud, with the case having a 480mAh battery. Xiaomi claims up to 30 hours of total battery life with the case and 6 up to 6 hours of music playback on a single charge. 

In China, the Buds 4 is priced at CNY699 or ~RM442 and can be purchased starting today. Xiaomi has yet to reveal the earbuds’ availability outside of China, though a global release is expected soon.
