The CC9 series came out back in 2019

Back in May, there was a rumour suggesting that Xiaomi was going to bring back the CC series. If you didn't know, Xiaomi launched the CC9 series in 2019 but skipped the CC10 last year. But we could see the CC11 series in 2021.

According to a Weibo blogger, the Xiaomi CC11 could feature the Snapdragon 778 or 780 chipset. Besides that, it's expected to come with an OLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 64MP main camera, and a telephoto lens. As for the CC11 Pro, it would use the more powerful Snapdragon 870 chipset and come with a periscope camera with 5x zoom.

Besides the rumoured CC11 series, there are also some rumours regarding the cameras for other upcoming Xiaomi smartphones. Allegedly, the Xiaomi Mi 12 series would feature a 200MP main camera, while the next Xiaomi Mi Mix device would come with a Samsung ISOCELL GN1s sensor. This is supposed to be a cheaper variant of the 108MP ISOCELL GN1 sensor, with a max pixel count of 50MP.

As usual, take this unverified rumour with a grain of salt. Having said that, the CC11 series should be an attractive option for those who want a Xiaomi phone with good cameras. But what do you think, would you be interested in getting the CC11 or CC11 Pro? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates.
