If you are a huge fan of the Xiaomi smartphones, this news might excite you. Recently, Xiaomi’s CEO and President confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi Ultra 14 model. That said, what should you know about it?
According to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, and the President of Xiaomi, Lu Weibing on Weibo, both individuals confirmed the new phone could arrive very soon. Lei Jun said that Lu Weibing will assume the responsibilities as the general manager of Xiaomi and will make an appearance during the launch of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra later.
In addition, this variant could feature a camera technology built with Leica. The new phone could sport a variable aperture value for the main camera lens between f/1.63 to f/2.5. Meanwhile, the telephoto lens is also rumoured to have a variable aperture value between f/2.5 to f/3.0.
Moreover, Xiaomi 14 Ultra could feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, a 5,180mAh battery and 90W fast charging. It will also offer satellite communications for emergencies. Interestingly, the phone is listed in databases in several countries such as 3C in China, BIS in India and IMDA in Singapore.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be launched at the Mobile World Congress event that will take place in Barcelona, Spain at the end of this month. We have yet to confirm other details on the phone specs and Malaysia release date. However, we could expect it to arrive very soon.
