It seems that Xiaomi’s CEO recently posted an update on his Weibo account, asking fans whether they would be interested in purchasing a premium Xiaomi smartphone for the price of RMB10000 (~RM6279). While not much is known in regards to the exact details regarding what the premium smartphone could be, it does give us a better understanding of what to expect from Xiaomi in the near future.
Based on what was mentioned by androidauthority, it seems that there could be a possibility that the device could be Xiaomi’s very first foldable smartphone. However, do take that statement with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Xiaomi has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
