When Xiaomi Mi Band 2 was revealed to the public two days ago, we also got confirmation from Xiaomi that the wearable will be delayed due to production issues. However, we now got an update from Xiaomi about the wearable's debut and it might be coming sooner than we expected.

According to Xiaomi CEO, the Mi Band 2 is most likely to be released in early June with no specific date, so it's safe to assume that it'll be around the first week of June and of course, in China first. Xiaomi has no comment on the pricing, but it should be quite economical like its predecessors. Features-wise, it was demonstrated that the wearable can show more details, such as battery life in percentage, steps taken, speed, heart rate and time on the LED display. Also, users will no longer have to rely on their smartphone app for such details.

So what do you think of the Mi Band 2's larger display? Is it a great upgrade? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more news at Technave.com!
