Xiaomi is preparing to launch a device with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. The device in question will be the Xiaomi Civi 2, packing a record-breaking tiny and light body that has become a characteristic of the Xiaomi Civi and Xiaomi Civi 1S.

Spotted in the MIUI OS code, the Xiaomi Civi 2 gets a codename Ziyi. The smartphone is also launching soon with Android 12-based MIUI 13 software before receiving an Android 13 upgrade. It's said that the device will pack an under-display fingerprint scanner, a 6.55-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and compatibility for Dolby Vision High Dynamic Range. Furthermore, it's also arriving with a triple camera setup and Xiaomi 67W quick-wired charging system.

Besides the Civi 2, there's also the Redmi 11A with 5G connectivity. It will also offer 10W charging. Judging by the specs, the device belongs to the budget segment for sure. Although both devices are expected to launch soon, there's no exact date of when it's happening. We could only wait for the official announcements for now.
