Xiaomi Civi 3 release: MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, 6.55-inch AMOLED 120Hz display and more from ~RM1633

Xiaomi recently released their Xiaomi Civi 3 midranger in China. Featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, 12GB / 16GB RAM and 256GB / 1TB storage, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced for 2499 CNY (~RM1633) while the 12GB RAM + 1TB storage variant goes for 2699 CNY (~RM1764). The 16GB RAM + 1TB storage variant goes for 2999 CNY (~RM1960).  

The display is a 6.55-inch AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate that can go up to 1500nits peak brightness. The display also supports HDR10+ and adaptive HDR10+ and has a layer of Gorilla Glass. Weighing in at 173g and measuring 7.56mm at its thinnest point, the phone supports 5G, WiFi6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and Android 13 based MIUI 14 tech specs.

For cameras, the Xiaomi Civi 3 offers a 50MP Sony IMX800 (OIS), 8MP ultra wide and a 2MP macro (sigh) triple rear camera. On the front, there’s two 32MP cameras in a pill-shaped cut-out. The phone uses a 4500 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. In addition, it also has a 4000mm2 stainless steel VC liquid cooling system.

Coming in ash, gold, green and purple, preorders for the Civi 3 started in China today but there are no Malaysia release dates or pricing details just yet. Stay tuned to TechNave.com and we’ll keep you updated.
