A controller built for gamers, Xiaomipedia reported that the GamePad Elite Edition has a built-in InvenSense 6-axis gyrosccope sensor and a built-in Minebea linear motor, which currently supports Windows computer games and vibration feedback from the Steam platform. Both features allow users to experience in-game sensations through somatosensory controls.

Besides that, the GamePad Elite Edition uses the A/B/X/Y control keys, with the keys themselves had been tested to withstand at least 1 million presses. It also features two large joysticks and linear trigger buttons for controls.
