Just last week we received reports of an upcoming Xiaomi device codenamed ‘Jason’. Now we have reason to believe that the ‘Jason’ may be the latest upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6x.
The 5.1-inch screen device will sport a Snapdragon 660 chipset which puts it somewhere in the mid-range category of smartphones and may tagged with a reasonable price of ¥1999 (around RM1300). The full phone specs can be referred to in the following image:
Do note that the only other phone to have the Snapdragon 660 is the upcoming Oppo R11 that is expected to be announced somewhere this week. Make sure to stay tuned for our coverage.
No Malaysian release can be spotted in the horizon but the alleged Mi 6x is expected to be released somewhere in August. If there is a Malaysian release, it would be somewhere after that.
