Since its release back in 2010, Xiaomi’s MIUI has been one of the reliable operating systems offered in the market until now. The MIUI is also deemed as fast when it comes to adopting the latest features from Android into its system. Recently, Xiaomi unveiled they are in the process of developing MIUI 12, and it will be released in Q3 2020 to celebrate its 10 year anniversary.
It is said that Xiaomi actually started working on the MIUI 12 while they were rolling out stable versions of MIUI 11 to most Xiaomi and Redmi devices. The MIUI 12 is expected to bring a lot more new features including a system-wide dark mode, as there are a lot of third-party apps that do not support dark mode on the current MIUI.

Moreover, Xiaomi didn’t reveal further information besides a MIUI 12 logo. Therefore, we are not sure whether the company is going to give a refreshing look to MIUI 12 like what it has done with MIUI 11. The MIUI 11 was a big update in visual aspects with softer icons, new Mi Lan Pro font, and improved always-on display functionality.
