Over the past 2-3 years, flip phones have made a comeback. And they are back in style. After the release of Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 5, it seemed that Xiaomi would follow suit with the Xiaomi MIX Flip. That said, what should you know about this phone?
In case you didn’t know, the device was spotted in the IMEI database in China. Interestingly, the product sports a model number 2311BPN23C on the database. Based on the leaks so far, the phone features a clamshell-style foldable smartphone, and it could debut alongside the Xiaomi MIX Fold 4.
In addition, rumour suggests this phone could arrive in August 2024. However, that could change depending on the launch timeline. Another rumour suggests the device could arrive at the end of the year. Hence, we could expect the new phone to rival either Galaxy Z Flip 5 or the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
Moreover, the MIX Flip could feature a telephoto lens alongside the wide and ultrawide cameras. On the other hand, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 does not have this. The device could also feature a 3x optical zoom and run Snapdragon8 Gen 3 SoC. We have yet to confirm other details about the MIX Flip. Therefore, only time will tell us more about this device.
