In case you missed it, Xiaomi Malaysia sent out a teaser that a bunch of new ecosystem products will be launching soon on 15 July 2020. To continue hype up this, the company just confirmed that a new Mi Electric Scooter is indeed one of the new products but without mentioning the name. Judging by the design, it's very likely to be the Mi Electric Scooter Pro (M365).

Comparing with the OG Mi Electric Scooter, the pro variant is a much better version (obviously) with an increased riding distance and a top speed of 45km and 30km respectively (the predecessor is 30km and 25km respectively). On top of that, another improvement is the LED display showing more information than before for the rider. According to the Xiaomi Global page, this includes switching modes (ECO, Standard and Sport) by double-pressing the power button, as well as monitoring the power and speed in real-time.

Since the pro variant can go up to 45km before needing to recharge, that also means the battery is improved (18,650mAh). There's smart power management as well to help protect the scooter from being overcharged overnight and even having a temperature resistance. Other than that, the rest remains more or less the same such as the front headlight, red tail light, the folding mechanic and more.

We expect Xiaomi Malaysia to tease us more this week, there are still the Mi Stick TV, Mi Band 5 and a potentially new smartphone. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
