Xiaomi Mi 10 5G (Snapdragon 870) and Redmi K40 series comes with 33W fast charging?

Xiaomi and Redmi are having a few smartphones scheduled to be launched after this Chinese New Year that includes the Mi 10 5G and Redmi K40 Series. Yesterday, we got a leak on the tech specs of the Redmi K40 series, today, both devices appeared on the 3C certification showing the fast charging technology.

According to the certification,the new Mi 10 with Snapdragon 870  chipset has the model number of M2102J2SC that supports maximum of 33W of fast charging whereas the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro both also supports a 33W of fast charging with the model number M2012K11AC and M2012K11C respectively.

Most of the users must be disappointed with the 33W fast charging speed since there are up to 65W fast charging on other smartphone devices. But if you look into their predecessors respectively, the Xiaomi Mi 10 supported 30W fast charging while the Redmi K30 series launched with up to 30W fast charging only for its highest range. Besides,the Redmi K40 series is expected to sport a Snapdragon 888 chipset, OLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Either way, there is no official confirmation on the tech specs and release dates yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But we are expecting the smartphones will still provide the charger in the box. So stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com.
