When brands launch smartphones these days, it's usually an entire series of new devices. So some were surprised to see only one new Mi 11 series device launched two days ago. But Xiaomi has not forgotten about the Mi 11 Pro, with sources claiming that the launch window has been confirmed.

According to Digital Chat Station (via playfuldroid), the Mi 11 Pro was never meant to launch with the Mi 11 anyway. He hinted that the Pro variant would only be available after the Lunar Chinese New Year, which will be from 12 to 26 February 2021. If that's the case, the Mi 11 Pro may only launch at the end of February or early March.

But what's going to be different in the Pro variant? Allegedly, the main differences include an improved display (likely in size and resolution) and better fast-charging. The phone is also expected to come with an under-display front camera. Speaking of cameras, the Mi 11 Pro should have the same triple rear camera setup with 108MP main camera.

Considering the timing, Xiaomi could be saving this phone for MWC 2021. In our opinion, it doesn't feel like there's much (based on current rumours) that makes it stand out over the standard variant though. But what do you think? Would you rather wait for the Mi 11 Pro or just get the Mi 11? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more news.
