The Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G has been slated to launch on the 24th of September and we’re literally a day away. Ahead of its launch, Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO and co-founder has confirmed that the device will only be launching in a 5G variant.

Besides that, the device will feature a 4000mAh battery capacity. Despite that, the smartphone will not be bulkier, weighing only 196 grams. A battery performance sheet was also shared by the company, comparing the Xiaomi Mi 9 to the Mi 9 Pro 5G in terms of battery performance. After 7 hours of use which include gaming, video and audio streaming, video recording, video calling and car navigation, the Mi 9 Pro 5G still has 21% battery left. In addition the Mi 9 Pro 5G comes with 40W fast charge support and 30W wireless fast charge support.

In addition, the company had also confirmed that the device will be released with a 1.044CC sound cavity, a 1217 super linear speaker, a smart PA and low latency support as well as High Definition Codec (LHDC). With all of these we can tell that the company is flexing the fact that the device will come with some beefy speakers.

4D Shock or HD vibration is another feature the Mi 9 Pro 5G will be released with. This feature gives a more immersive experience while gaming as it provides around 150 different vibration modes which can be customized and adapted to different games and scenarios.
