Today Xiaomi launched not one, but two devices being the Xiaomi Mi 9 as well as the lower spec Xiaomi Mi 9 SE starting from the price of RMB2999(~RM1814) and RMB1999(~RM1209) respectively.
In terms of the tech specs, the Xiaomi Mi 9 comes equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 6.39-inch AMOLED display with water drop screen design, 48MP + 16MP + 12MP rear camera setup, 20MP front-facing selfie camera, and it is powered by a 3300mAh non-removable battery.
The device also comes fitted with an in-display fingerprint sensor, as well as various AI-driven features such as AI anti-distortion, which helps improves picture quality, 27W fast charging and up to 960fps slow motion video capture.
But that’s not all, there’s also the Xiaomi Mi 9 Transparent edition which is priced at RMB3999(~RM2419) which features a transparent back with the internal components clearly visible. This special edition exclusively comes with 12GB of RAM as well as 256GB of internal storage, while the rest of the tech specs remains the same.
As for the Xiaomi Mi 9 SE, the smartphone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 instead, 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, smaller 5.97-inch with the same waterdrop screen design, 48MP + 8MP + 13MP rear camera, 20MP front-facing selfie camera, and a 3070mAh non-removable battery which supports up to 18W fast charging.
In terms of the colour options, the Xiaomi Mi 9 and Xiaomi Mi 9 SE comes in 3 different colour options, which are blue, deep grey, and purple while the transparent edition comes in black only. For more updates like this, stay tuned to TechNave.com.
