It wasn’t THAT long ago since the Xiaomi Mi 9T was announced. Now, the company has another smartphone set to launch soon which is the Xiaomi Mi A3, which has been speculated to be a rebranded Xiaomi CC9e. It has been reported that device may be priced around USD$199 (~RM818).

The smartphone features some decent tech specs at that price point with the Snapdragon 665 chipset, 6 inch 720p Dot Drop display (another word for waterdrop notch), 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 4030mAh battery capacity, and an in-screen fingerprint reader. For its camera, we can expect a triple rear camera setup with 48MP + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP sensors whereas the selfie camera is 32MP. The device may come with a USB-C port, 2 speaker grills, a pretty thick camera bump and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Leaked official renders of the smartphone

As for the design, we can expect the device out in 3 colours: Black, Blue and White. There were speculations that the Xiaomi Mi A3 is a rebranded Xiaomi CC9. However, other reports mention that the CC9 may be rebranded as another smartphone which is set to launch in September. Whatever it is, before any official announcements are made, it’s best to take this info with a grain of salt. Speaking of which, no official Malaysia release dates or Malaysia pricings have been revealed but just so you know the Xiaomi CC9e is priced at 1299 Yuan (~RM775) in China.
