Xiaomi Mi Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphones could be on the way

Could the new model look similar to the Mi True Wireless Earphones?

Xiaomi's true wireless stereo (TWS) doesn't seem like it's ending soon. The company launched the 1MORE TWS last month and the Redmi AirDots 2 just last week, but another new one may be launching soon. Recently, sources have found the Bluetooth certification for the new TWS earphones, which bears the name of Mi Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphones.

Sounds like a mouthful? Yeah, we thought so too. Anyway, the folks over at Gizmochina shared screenshots of the Bluetooth certification. While this alone doesn't tell us much, the info here is enough to confirm a few things. Other than the obvious fact it has active noise cancelling, we can also see that it supports Bluetooth 5.0, as well as the Sub-band Coding (SBC) and AAC audio codecs.

This model should be an upgrade over the Mi True Wireless Earphones. In other words, it could sport a similar design but with improved tech specs and features. If that's the case, then it should be using the same 7mm drivers to deliver the audio. In terms of battery, it should hopefully provide more than 3 hours of battery life this time.

We're getting to a point where the market is being saturated with these TWS earphones and identifying which ones are good may soon become a challenge. Having said that, do you use TWS audio devices and which is your favourite? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
