Xiaomi is set to expand its true wireless stereo (TWS) portfolio again. The company launched the Mi AirDots 2 a few months back, but that's not the best model it has available. Live images of the Mi Air 2 Pro have been found and sources have revealed some of its specs recently.

According to Digital Chat Station, the Mi Air 2 Pro is going to be launched soon. This pair of TWS earbuds are expected to have 12mm dynamic drivers, noise cancellation of up to 35db, and supports low latency codecs. From the images, we can see that the earbuds are quite big, so we're not sure how well it would fit people with smaller ears. The charging case is also quite big and is said to be able to deliver up to 21 hours extra audio playback.

Speaking of the charging case, the small lightning icon on it shows that wireless charging is supported. Besides that, it's expected to support a variety of codecs, including aptX Adaptive and LHDC V3. These are the low latency modes that range from 50-80ms, so you will probably not have to watch videos with audio out of sync. This is also great if you play a lot of mobile games.

The Mi Air 2 Pro will allegedly be priced around 600-700 yuan (~RM369 to 431), which means it's going to be quite affordable.
