Based on a statement by gizchina.com, it seems that Xiaomi could be unveiling the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 on 3 April 2020, along with 21 other new products. While not much is exactly known in regards to the aforementioned smart band, the source has mentioned that it might come with a larger 1.2-inch AMOLED display.
Furthermore, it is expected to come with NFC functionality which is currently available in China for now and there’s no information on when it will be available outside of that region. However, once it is available globally, it should come with several useful functionalities such as contactless payments, membership card and more.
With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Xiaomi has yet to release an official statement as of now.
