It seems that Xiaomi has recently posted on their weibo account stating that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will be the first Mi Band to come equipped with magnetic charging support. With that said, users will not need to separate the module from the strap in order to charge like in older Mi Bands.
Other than that, Xiaomi also mentioned that the upcoming Mi Band will come with 20% larger display compared to the Mi Band 4. Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to the Malaysia release date, full tech specs and local pricing for now.
