Xiaomi Mi Box selling for RM349 in Malaysia through Lazada and other offline dealers

In case you missed it, the Xiaomi Mi Box has been available in Malaysia for quite some time now. Available for RM349 through offline dealers and Lazada since 3 March, it comes with a compact design and Android TV 6.0, allowing access to thousands of movies and shows from popular streaming apps including Netflix, HBO and VUDU, as well as games from Google Play. Below is the official tech-specs:

With a built-in Google Cast technology, owners of the device will be able to play any TV shows, movies, music, and games from their mobile device on the big screen, along with a personalised recommendations on Google Play, YouTube and other apps, the media will appear automatically on the home screen effortlessly.

In addition, Mi Box also comes with a Bluetooth remote control that supports voice search and commands, so users can simply speak into the remote to search for content. The Mi Box design has received good reviews overseas and was even awarded from internationally-renowned Red Dot and Good Design.
