The recently announced Xiaomi giant, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was recently made available in Malaysia’s own DirectD website but only for a couple of hours before the page was taken down.
We did not manage to grab a screen shot, but what was seen before the page was taken down was that only the 64GB variant, gold model was available for purchase at a reasonable price tag of RM1499.
Not much can be said about why the page was taken down but hey, we got a sneak peek on what the confirmed Malaysian pricing might be. We just have to be a little more patient to see where this is going.
The Mi Max 2 is best known for its whopping 6.44-inch display and is powered with a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. The device also features a 12MP main camera, and a 5MP front shooter. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and packs a mammoth 5300mAh battery.
