We’ve been reporting on the leaks of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 since February this year. Today a new leak just came into the radar which gives us a clearer picture on the Tablet’s outlook design with the two accessories which are a keyboard and a cover accessory.
The CAD renders were shared by the popular tipster Digital Chat Station. According to the renders, the keyboard will also act as a cover casing for the tablet. It has a squarish cut out for the rear camera and from the image we are expecting the Mi Pad 5 will be supporting stylus input with a cylindrical design stylus pen.
As for the keyboard, it has island-style keys without any trackpad on it. It has four grooves that lock the rear cover case onto it and uses pogo pins to connect the Mi Pad 5 to the keyboard. The tablet is expected to come with a Snapdragon 800 series processor with a 120Hz refresh rate display.
Either way, there is still no official information on the tech specs and Malaysia release dates on the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, while the real deal may be slightly different from the renders, so take this with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com
