While some expected Xiaomi to make a big announcement at CES 2021, the company later confirmed that it will unveil some new products yesterday. One of them is the Xiaomi Mi 11 series, which you can read about in our other launch report. But Xiaomi also launched a new wireless router.

That's right, Xiaomi has launched a high-speed router called the Mi Router AX6000 yesterday. According to Gizmochina, this is a WiFi-6 Enhanced router with a maximum wireless bandwidth of 6000MBps. Unlike most high-end premium routers you see, it's not really that big. But it does have the hardware to ensure that it has a large WiFi coverage.

Inside the router is a dedicated Qualcomm network chip and six signal amplifiers, which enables the Mi Router AX6000 to have stronger signals with better wall penetration. It also supports 160MHz bandwidth, 4K QAM high-speed transmission, WAN/LAN switching (via its 2500M Ethernet port), and Mesh networking. On top of that, this router will work with Xiaomi's other AIoT products.

At a price of 599 yuan (~RM371), it's a pretty good choice as a high-speed router. We don't know when it'll make its way to Malaysia, but would you be interested in getting one? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on it.
