Xiaomi has already become one of the brands that we’ll definitely think of when it comes to smartphones. However, other than smartphones, there are also many other reasons that make us Malaysians like the Chinese brand so much. One of it would be Xiaomi has built a reputation for manufacturing affordable and high-quality home appliances, which we still can’t directly purchase from the local Xiaomi stores yet (can only purchase from resellers). Now, it looks like things are changing slowly as Xiaomi has announced their Mi TVs will soon be in Malaysia.

The Xiaomi stores in Malaysia have the Mi TVs displaying to their customers, but they are not for sale at the moment. Today, Xiaomi’s Country Manager for Malaysia and Singapore, Nicholas Shi, announced that the Mi TV lineup will make its debut in our country later this year. Therefore, you might soon be able to purchase the TVs right away from the Xiaomi stores without asking around for reputable resellers.

For now, the company hasn’t revealed much about the exact date and which models will be arriving in Malaysia. With the recent launch of Mi TV 4 (55-inch and 43-inch) and Mi TV 4A (43-inch and 32-inch) in Indonesia, we have the reasons to believe that these 4 models will be the first to hit the local market. Other than the TVs, products like Mi Watch, Mi Gaming Monitor, Mi Robot Vacuum, and more from Xiaomi will soon be here as well.
