Xiaomi finally unveiled the Mix Fold 3 last night but that's not, the company also released other new devices. In this article, we will be taking a look at Xiaomi's newest foldable device, including its features, price and availability.
Starting with the design, the Mix Fold 3 looks similar to the Mix Fold 2 but now comes with four rear cameras. It includes a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 10MP telephoto and 10MP periscope lenses with 5x optical zoom. Of course, these are Leica cameras and the only cameras that you're gonna get.
For the displays, the Mix Fold 3 features dual E6 OLED displays - the exterior holds a 6.56-inch LTPO OLED display with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and up to 2560 nits peak brightness. Meanwhile, the interior is a massive 8.03-inch LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and supports Dolby Vision. Like all foldable devices, the Mix Fold 3 also has Ultra Thin Glass and is said to withstand 500,000 folds for a lifetime.
Other than that, other tech specs include the expected Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 4800mAh battery with 67W fast charge technology and 50W wireless charging. The Mix Fold 3 is running on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box. There are also three memory configurations which you may refer to below:
- 12GB + 256GB - 8999 Yuan (~RM5739)
- 16GB + 512GB - 9999 Yuan (~RM6377)
- 16GB + 1TB - 10,999 Yuan (~RM7015)
Pre-orders for the Mix Fold 3 has already begun in China, but Xiaomi has no word about its global availability. The previous Xiaomi foldable phone also never made it to Malaysia, so it's quite likely that we may not see it here in the market.
