Besides the Xiaomi 15 Series pre-order, Xiaomi has also announced the availability of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Series. Featuring the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and Xiaomi Pad 7, the starting prices for these tablets are RM2,499 and RM1,299, respectively. Here's everything you should know about the pre-order.
Starting with the standard Pad 7, there is a RM100 discount during the period and double Mi points if you pre-order it on mi.com. On top of that, getting the 8GB + 256GB will come bundled with a free keyboard and Focus Pen, whereas topping up for RM249 and RM199 on the 8GB + 128GB model will come with a keyboard (worth RM499) and the Focus Pen (worth RM399).
On the other hand, the Pad 7 Pro has the same pre-order perks but with a higher memory configuration of 8GB + 256GB (add-on deal) and 12GB + 512GB (free keyboard and Focus Pen). The 8GB + 256GB is an online exclusive while the Matte Glass Version is only available on mi.com with 10 Mi Points for a RM120 voucher.
To recap the tech specs, both tablets have the same 11.2-inch 144Hz LCD and an 8,850mAh battery pack (45W for the Pad 7, while the Pro uses 67W). The Pad 7 is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, while the Pad 7 Pro features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. In terms of cameras, the latter has better configurations - 50MP rear and 32MP front cameras - while the former only has 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras.
