When Xiaomi first announced the Xring O1 last month, it indicated that Xiaomi devices would start featuring the in-house chipset. The company soon launched the Xring 01-powered Xiaomi 15S Pro and Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, with another Xiaomi Pad 7 series tablet coming soon.
Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro specs confirmed
Yesterday, Xiaomi unveiled (via Weibo) some details of its next tablet - the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro. This is a 12.5-inch tablet with an incredibly slim (5.8mm) and lightweight (576g) body. The screen is an LCD panel with a 3200x2136 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 1000 nits of peak brightness. It also has Xiaomi's Xring O1 chipset, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage under the hood.

Besides that, the Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro shares the same 50MP main camera and 32MP front camera as the other Xiaomi Pad 7 series tablets. At 10610mAh, its battery capacity is a middle ground between the Pad 7 (8850mAh) and Pad 7 Ultra (12000mAh). However, it does have 120W fast charging.
A more portable Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra
The Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro can be considered a smaller variant of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra. Its core specs are more or less similar, albeit with a smaller profile. The size also makes it more suitable for small sling bags, which makes it more portable.
We don't know if this model will be released in Malaysia yet, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.
