Last night, Xiaomi officially unveiled the Xiaomi Pad Mini in Malaysia, priced at RM2299 for the 12GB + 512GB model in Gray. Available now at Xiaomi Stores in TRX, IPC, and Paradigm Mall, as well as online via mi.com, Shopee and Lazada, the tablet also comes with a complimentary Xiaomi Pad Mini Cover (worth RM 299).
Xiaomi Pad Mini Tech Specs and Features
As Xiaomi’s first mini tablet for Malaysia, the Pad Mini features an 8.8-inch 3K display (3008 × 1880 resolution, 403ppi) with an adaptive 165Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, DC Dimming, and 700 nits peak brightness The tablet also runs on Xiaomi HyperAI, offering tools like AI Writing, AI Speech Recognition, AI Interpreter, AI Art, and AI Calculator, as well as Google Gemini and supports Circle to Search.
Under the hood, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset (3nm process) powers the Pad Mini, while accompanied by a 7500mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge. There is also an 18W reverse charging to power other devices, alongside dual USB-C ports, including one with USB 3.2 Gen 1.
For audio, the Pad Mini is equipped with dual stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio, Hi-Res Wireless Audio, and Dolby Atmos. Productivity and creativity are enhanced with the Xiaomi Focus Pen, offering ultra-low latency and high-pressure sensitivity, while the included Pad Mini Cover brings durability and style.
Early Bird Promotion
While there is no bundled package for the Xiaomi Pad Mini, at least there is an early bird promo for customers and Mi fans, which is RM1999.
