Xiaomi announced that it will be announcing the Xiaomi Mi Play smartphone on Christmas Eve which was teased a few days ago. Announced on Weibo, the Chinese mobile manufacturer had the tagline, “New mobile phone, released on December 24, Xiaomi Play comes with traffic, maybe the Christmas gift you want most.”
The company revealed the smartphone earlier which shows the smartphone sporting a waterdrop notch, a double rear camera setup and a rear fingerprint scanner. So far no tech specs or features of the smartphone has been revealed thus far and would most likely be revealed during the launch on the 24th of December.
Despite it using the word play on the smartphone, it isn’t actually a smartphone marketed just for gaming. The smartphone aims to be a source of entertainment and is marketed to the younger generation. So how young is Xiaomi talking about exactly?
