Boom Shaka Laka
Have you always wanted to listen to your songs without having to plug in your earphones? Or too lazy to bring around your medium sized speakers? Well sulk no more, Xiaomi has designed a super lightweight speaker box - The Xiaomi Portable USB Rechargeable Bluetooth V4.0 Stereo Speaker. Behold the tech specs and our review:-

At first glance, you might think this little black box can't do much. But I was proven wrong. The sound quality is actually quite commendable, the treble and bass are balanced well and I enjoyed using the speaker box more than I expected. I tried playing different kinds of music genre to see how it turns out and I must say I'm quite impressed. Be it pop, rock, hip-hop, acoustic or electronic dance music, it is sure to satisfiy any music lovers' ears.
The buttons are at the bottom, with the USB port at the side and in between the - and +.
The mini speaker box has a pretty solid sleek look with its black cylindrical metallic design. However, the three buttons at the bottom (that serves are its "leg") are questionable as I think people would prefer to push the play/pause/next/back buttons at the side. I also think maybe they're placed below so that the deisgn and look looks refined, also if you can memorize where are the buttons, you can actually tap on the speaker box above (the buttons below are sensitive enough to be pressed on solid ground) to fulfil your demands.
Don't be fooled by its "lack" of volume control either, as you need to press hold - or + to decrease or increase the volume. Although the buttons are strangely placed below the device, users would probably control the music setting from your smartphone or Xiaomi Pad most of the time anyway.

Overall, this little bad boy is a nice gadget to carry around especially for music fans. It can play songs long hours up to 12 hours and a full recharge only takes at least 3 hours (red light means it needs to charge, if there's no red light while charging it means it is done). The Bluetooth has little trouble connecting with most smartphones. It can bluetooth together with a Xiaomi Pad too. You can also talk through the speaker box if a phone call comes through, just press play/pause to receive the incoming call.
Price tag for the wireless mini speaker may vary around $30-50 (RM120-250) depending on the site you're getting it from.
