Previously, we compiled the latest rumours regarding the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, tipped for a release by the end of the year. Well, we’ve now got confirmation on when the device would launch, which is in August 2023.
Announced by the President of Xiaomi, Lu Weibing himself, the upcoming foldable would also mark the company’s production system upgrade. Taking to Weibo, he asserted that the company will debut a factory upgrade known as “Smart Factory”, which would mass produce the MIX Fold 3.
Lu Weibing further revealed that thanks to the factory upgrade, the MIX Fold 3 will include a more robust and durable body while being thinner than its predecessor. Besides that, the device will also continue Xiaomi’s collaboration with Leica, so do expect the camera’s branding and imaging tech on the foldable.
