Xiaomi Redmi 3 is now official with 4100 mAh and cost RMB 699 (around RM470)

Xiaomi has officially announced the Redmi 3 today, and holding true to its teaser the device does sport a massive 4100 mAh battery and the body has a new design look that is made up of 4166 stars woven together to reflect as if there are many diamonds on it. Redmi 3 is will go on sale for RMB 699 (around RM470) tomorrow 12 January.

Weighing just 144 grams only, the Redmi 3 succeeds its predecessor by having an increased battery density of 685Wh/L, this extends the talk time by 80%. It also has a 5V/2A fast charging feature, and together with MIUI 7’s battery optimization; we can expect the Redmi 3 to last longer. The rear camera are also equipped with a F/2.0 and PDAF for a fast autofocus in just 0.1 seconds, whereas the front camera is getting a F/2.2.

As stated earlier, the Redmi 3 will be available in China first at Mi.com and Tmall website tomorrow (12 January). It will come in either gold, silver or black.
