Redmi has just got the thumbs up from TENAA for their latest upcoming budget device that is suspected to be the Redmi 5A according to Gizmochina.

From the images themselves, it can be seen that the Redmi 5A will have a full-metal build with no fingerprint scanner and a single camera setup which is listed to pack an 8MP main camera and a 5MP snapper up front.

The TENAA listings also show that the upcoming Redmi 5A should be available in 2GB and 3GB RAM options as well as a 16GB and 32GB ROM variant. The upcoming Redmi 5A will also feature a 5-inch HD display with a 1.4GHz Quad-core processor, in which was suspected to be the humble Snapdragon 425 chipset. A 3000 mAh battery and an Android 7.1.2 based OS will run the show on the inside.

All in all, it looks like the Redmi 5A will be a true blue budget smartphone and will have an awesomely low price tag to boot. It is reported that the Redmi Note 5A will cost around 599CNY (RM380) for the 2GB+16GB variant whereas 699CNY (RM445) for the high spec 3GB+32GB variant. Both in which are very much affordable, I might say.
