Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro and Mi Pad 4
Previously, not only did Xiaomi released some official teasers about the Redmi 6 Pro but it seems that it's already live on their official website, showing off the full specifications along with a Mi Pad 4 and both of these products are launched in China for now. So while we wait for news if they are coming into Malaysia or not, let's check out the tech-specs below.
Just as the previous teaser announced, the new mid-range Redmi 6 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset, 5.84-inch Full HD+ display (19:9 aspect ratio) and has two memory variants - 3GB + 32GB and up to 4GB + 64GB models. The dual rear camera setup behind is a 12MP (f/2.2) + 5MP equipped with AI Portrait mode, bokeh mode, night mode, EIS and HDR, as well as capable of recording up to 4K resolution at 30 fps and 120 fps for 720p slow-motion clips.
As for the front camera, it also has AI Beauty mode, AI Portrait and HDR for the 5MP sensor. Other specs include a 4000mAh battery, a triple SIM slot (up to 256GB via expandable storage), microUSB 2.0, an infrared sensor, MIUI 10 out of the box and a rear fingerprint scanner.
Then for the Mi Pad 4, it comes with the regular Snapdragon 660, an 8-inch IPS display (1920 x 1200 resolution), 6000mAh battery, 13MP + 5MP camera setup and also has two different storage variants (which is the WiFi version) - 3GB + 32GB and a 4GB + 64GB model. There's also an LTE model that uses a 4GB + 64GB model.
For the price tag, it goes as low as 999 Yuan and since there are a bunch of memory models, below is the estimated converted price for each model:
- Redmi 6 Pro 3GB + 32GB - 999 Yuan (~RM615)
- Redmi 6 Pro 4GB + 32GB - 1199 Yuan (~RM739)
- Redmi 6 Pro 4GB + 64GB - 1299 Yuan (~RM800)
- Mi Pad 4 3GB + 32GB (WiFi) - 1099 Yuan (~RM677)
- Mi Pad 4 4GB + 64GB (WiFi) - 1399 Yuan (~RM862)
- Mi Pad 4 4GB + 64GB (LTE) - 1499 Yuan (~RM924)
