Prior to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro's official release, there weren't many details on the smartphone but it showed up in Thailand. Coming in black, blue, red and rose gold, this mid-range device cost 6990 baht which is around ~RM893 after a direct conversion.

The Redmi Note 6 doesn't look anything new as it now has a fat notch on top on the 6.26-inch display in Full HD+ resolution with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The body has both materials of aluminium for the back and plastic for the top and bottom. The 3.5mm headphone jack is still here to stay and it now uses a USB Type-C port.

Going deeper into the specifications, it carries a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a dual 12MP (dual pixel technology) + 5MP rear camera and even the front gets a set of cameras too, using 20MP + 2MP with AI Dual Cameras feature. Moreover, it runs on the latest MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo out of the box and it has Face Unlock. The battery is 4000mAh with quick charge support.

Knowing Xiaomi, this phone will probably make its way to Malaysia so until then, stay tuned for more Xiaomi news at TechNave.com.
