Xiaomi was on a roll this evening by launching several products for the Malaysian market. Besides smartphones and wearables, the company had also brought something for your home. During the event, the Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Series had made an appearance with three variants, including Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Pro, 4, and 4 Lite.
The highest variant, Xiaomi Smart Air Purifier 4 Pro, features a 3-in-1 filtration system that combines electrostatic charge and mechanical filtration technologies to trap 99.97% of air pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. It also integrates both PM2.5 and PM10 sensors to precisely detect inhalable particles of different sizes, along with an ionizer that helps capture floating pollutants. The Smart Air Purifier 4 Pro offers 500m3/h PCADR and 185m3/h FCADR, which means it can filter the air of a 40m2 living room entirely every 15 minutes.
Of course, the 'Smart' word in its naming means that it'll also offer some advanced features that enhance the overall user experience. It sports an OLED touch display that allows quick viewing of AQI, temperature, and humidity statistics. Users can make quick adjustments in just a few taps as well. Through the Xiaomi Home App, remote control has been made effortless, including scheduling purification routines and behaviour, setting up automation with other IoT devices, viewing filter usage status and more. Voice commands are also supported with Google Assistant.
